12 Phobic guests to be first riders on Phobia Phear Coaster at Lake Compounce

Twelve phobic guests will be the first to experience one of 2016 most frightening new rides, as Lake Compounce is seeking fearful volunteers to try out their new Phobia Phear Coaster.

If you are willing to share your fears in exchange for first dibs on Lake Compounce’s new scream machine, visit www.lakecompounce.com/phobiaphearcontest to enter the drawing. You can enter now, and the 12 lucky (or unlucky) winners will be revealed online starting May 1.

The Connecticut family theme parks’s newest addition was announced last July, and will debut on May 7, 2016, for the first day of Lake Compounce’s operating season. Phobia Phear Coaster, a magnetic launched looper designed by Premier Rides, will feature a 150-foot inversion (the highest in the Northeast) and a 65 mph top speed.
