Celebrate innovation and invention at the Orlando Mini Maker Faire

The second annual Orlando Mini Maker Faire will be held this Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at the Orlando Science Center. It’s a community-based learning event that aims to inspire the public to become a “Maker” through do-it-yourself science and technology, art, rockets, robots, crafts, music, hands-on activities and more.

Disney invites guests to show their ‘Disney Side’ with new promotional campaign

Disney has revealed what looks to be their 2014 promotional campaign for the theme parks, entitled “Show Your Disney Side.” This campaign should run through 2014, replacing the “Limited Time Magic” campaign that is running through the end of 2013. The two will run simultaneously until then.

With the opening of the Gary Sain Memorial Skybridge, the Rosen Plaza is now connected with the Orange County Convention Center West Building. The new skybridge completes the fourth and final link in connecting the convention center with adjacent International Drive hotels.

Halloween Horror Nights Lights-On Tour – Resident Evil, Escape From Raccoon City

Join us on a lights-on tour of Resident Evil, Escape From Raccoon City, a haunted house based on a video game, at Halloween Horror Nights 23. This is the first time a house is based wholly on a game. Last year a house was based on combined elements of a movie and game, Silent Hill.

Disney to debut new Disability Access Service Cards, replacing Guest Assistance Cards

In order to help make attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland more accessible to all guests including those with disabilities, Disney will be replacing the current Guest Assistance Card on Oct. 9, 2013 with the new Disability Access Service Card.
