Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival may get most of the attention each fall, but another epicurean event around the corner will be celebrating its eighth anniversary when the 2017 Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic returns to Walt Disney World on October 27 and 28.

The 2017 Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will return for its eighth year Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28, with new dishes debuting alongside returning festival favorites. Highlights of the 2017 menu include featured items from the hotel’s signature restaurants: Kobe beef mini burgers with truffle aioli, Applewood smoked bacon and roma tomato chutney from The Fountain; seared Yellowfin Tuna salad from Todd English’s bluezoo; ricotta gnocchi with wild mushrooms, baby spinach and fennel sausage from Il Mulino Trattoria and oven-roasted beef ribeye with mashed potatoes and sauce bordelaise from Shula’s Steakhouse. Returning dishes include the dragon sushi roll from Kimonos and fish ‘n’ chips with sea salt and vinegar potato chips from Garden Grove.

The Swan and Dolphin’s Executive Chef, Robert Ciborowski will also be bringing back his signature barbecue at the Cib’s Smoke House station with hand-crafted pork belly and smoked Spanish Iberico pork collar.

World Champion Pastry Chef Laurent Branlard will bring sweetness to the festivities with desserts like the crunchy chocolate passion fruit truffle and key lime vanilla cream. The returning Sundae Action Station will let guests pick their own unique ice cream toppings, like raspberry whipped cream and caramelized hazelnuts.

Also returning this year will be Carnival Corner and Chinatown, offering specialty cuisine in immersive themed areas, as well as the Sunday Bubbles Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 29. Original dessert offerings will once again be served by World Champion Pastry Chef Laurent Branlard. For a full list of current menu offerings, visit their website.

“One of our favorite parts about this festival is showcasing our creativity and adding new experiences each year,” said Tony Porcellini, Director of Food and Beverage at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts. “Things that won’t change are the quality of our food and beverage selections and our vibrant street party atmosphere.”

Another new experience this year is the Bubbles Lounge, a secluded, fun area that will showcase sparkling beverages including sparkling wine and champagne, inspired by Lawrence Welk. Guests will receive an entrance ticket to the lounge upon check-in.
