A year at the Epcot entrance garden

The Epcot front entrance garden is always changing to match the season or featured event at the park. This photo shows the garden at its peak during the Flower and Garden Festival.

But do you remember when when there was still danger of frost and this garden planting had some cold weather flowers? Note also that Lotso Bear was still growing backstage and there was a stand-in.

Buzz and Woody also started with their eyes closed.

We’ve been following the changes in the Epcot front garden closely all year, beginning with this planting on Jan. 16.

This video shows the ever-changing garden through 2011.

Something not seen in the video are the beautiful Jacaranda trees. This is a perfect time to appreciate them again. They’ll be blooming again in about six months.
