Visitors to Central Florida looking for an easy way to get groceries have a new shopping option, because Amazon Prime Now One Hour Delivery is now available throughout the Orlando area, including at resort hotels.

Amazon announced on May 10 that its Prime Now one-hour delivery service is expanding to Orlando. The ultra-fast service, offered exclusively as a benefit to Prime members, provides one-hour delivery on tens of thousands of daily essentials from staples like paper towels, milk or ice cream, to electronics such as laptops and Kindle devices.

Customers in Orlando can now get thousands of items delivered to their door in just one hour for $7.99, and two-hour delivery is free. In Orlando, Prime Now is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

Prime Now is currently available throughout Orange County, including the resort areas, as well as downtown Orlando. The service area spans down to Kissimmee and up to Winter Park. Anyone with an Amazon Prime membership in an area with access to the service can place an order on Prime Now.

Prime members can download the Prime Now app, available on iOS and Android devices, and will be notified when the service is available in their zip code. Prime members can also shop on primenow.com.
