Amazon Restaurants now delivering food to Amazon Prime members in Orlando and Tampa

Beginning today, October 13, Amazon Prime members in Orlando and Tampa can now get free one-hour delivery from selected restaurants to their hotel or home using the new Amazon Restaurants service.

Using the Prime Now app or by visiting amazon.com/restaurants, Prime members in Orlando can view participating restaurants, browse menus, place orders, track the status of their delivery, and watch as their delivery driver travels from the restaurant to the delivery address in real time.

“We are thrilled to be among the first restaurants in the area to be partnering with Amazon Restaurants and welcome the service to Orlando,” said Kaleb C. Harrell, co-founder of Hawker’s Asian Street Fare in Orlando. “Hawkers’ fans have been asking for delivery for years, and we couldn’t imagine a more reliable logistics partner to fill that demand.”

Once an order is placed, Amazon delivers the food in an hour or less. Amazon Restaurants offers customers transparent pricing – there are no menu markups or hidden service fees and delivery on all orders is free for Prime members.

This service isn’t only for locals; visitors staying at area hotels within the participating ZIP codes can get delivery as well. None of the hotels near Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World, or Busch Gardens Tampa are currently in the Amazon Restaurants delivery area, but they are eligible for Amazon Now grocery delivery.
