Angry Birds Space Encounter attraction coming to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex this spring

Angry Birds Space Encounter

When you visit the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex this spring, keep an extra careful eye on the skies. You may spot some mad fowl flying through the air. Angry Birds Space Encounter is set to open at the complex this spring.

Will it be an Angry Birds playground? Maybe a video game display? Or will guests will fling plush birds across a field? We don’t have many details yet on this new attraction but we’ve been told the popular characters from the Rovio Entertainment game, Angry Birds Space, will be brought to life. It’s said to be the first comprehensive, interactive Angry Birds attraction in the United States and will be specially designed to engage children (and most likely a lot of adults as well).

Stay tuned. We’ll bring you more details as we get them.

  1. I really welcome anything new at KSC, especially if it helps draw in a broader spread of visitors, but, Angry Birds, good as they are, can easily vanish from the radar so to speak in the fickle and fast moving arena of gaming.
With that in mind, I can’t imagine that KSC or Rovio will be investing in major infrastructure in Florida.

Let’s hope it does last though, and more people take the trip over to the coast to see this amazing centre.
It’s got to be the most inspiring place to take the kids, beyond the parks!
