There’s a new, less expensive option for dining at Disney Springs. Blaze Pizza is now open in the Town Center area, serving custom pizzas fast.
Blaze Pizza calls themselves a modern day “pizza joint” serving up artisanal pizzas. Each restaurant features an interactive open-kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu’s signature pizzas or create their own, choosing from a wide selection of ingredients.
The generously-sized personal pizzas are then sent to a blazing hot open-flame oven – the centerpiece of the restaurant – where “pizza smiths” ensure the thin-crust pies are fast-fire’d and ready to eat in just 180 seconds.
Here’s a look at the menu.
They also offer a wide-selection of drinks, including beer and wine:
The restaurant makes their own dough from scratch using a recipe developed by Executive Chef Bradford Kent (“Pizza Whisperer”), which requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce his signature light-as-air, crisp crust. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese.
The S’more Pie. Ask them to warm it up for you.
They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is themed to an old logging mill as part of the Disney Springs story. You’ll notice a few themed details around the restaurant.
Blaze Pizza is now open daily for lunch, dinner or a late snack until 11 p.m. (midnight on Friday and Saturday) at Disney Springs. There’s also a Blaze Pizza near the University of Central Florida, and another is coming to Winter Park. You’ll also find one at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood, and many other locations across the U.S.
If you think you’ll be visiting a Blaze Pizza often, be sure to sign up for their rewards program online and through their app. You can find more details and locations at blazepizza.com.
