The Ellen Degeneres Show is returning to Universal Orlando

Ellen is returning to Orlando again this year to record her show at Universal.
Last year she taped her show at CityWalk and recorded many skits inside the parks. Tickets are available by request but they usually go fast. I requested tickets last year and wasn’t able to get them. So sign up fast if you’d like to go. She’ll be taping one show on Friday, March 28 and two shows on Saturday, March 29.
Just in case you can’t get tickets, you can enter to win a trip for two to Orlando, tickets to see the show on the 28th, and three-day, two-park passes to Universal and three nights at one of the Universal/Lowes hotels on property. The contest page also has funny clips of Ellen at Universal last year.

if you requested tickets, how do u kno if you are rejected or you will get the tickets?
also, when will they let us know when they are going to let us know if we got the tickets?

Hi! I requested tickets back in February, and then a few weeks later saw on Ellen’s website that tickets were no longer available — so I can assume that I didn’t get tickets.
I’d like to try for the standby tickets. Do you have any information on how to get them?
I saw the directions on Ellen’s website if you are in the LA area – but thought it might be different for the tapings in Orlando.

My mom and I both requested tickets as soon as I heard about them and we’ve never heard anything back. I think they at least should let everyone know if they did or didn’t get tickets.
If you still want to attend, they’re inviting everyone to stand in what they’re calling the “rif-raf” section. That just means show up at CityWalk and try to see over everyone’s heads. But any band guests will perform on the stage. The Jonas Brothers will be there Friday.

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show at Universal Orlando Resort has reached its capacity for reserved seating for all tapings.
We would like to extend this invitation to any and all Ellen fans to join in our “Riff Raff” Street Party at CityWalk.
Guests will be able to watch the tapings of the show from and on the CityWalk Astrovision. Plus, the musical performances for the show will be performing in the Plaza located within the “Riff Raff” Street Party.”

Dear Ellen and Portia, Even though this is the Ellen show I wanted to acknowledge Portia as well since we are two beautiful lesbians also. Saw on your show yesterday that you are again returning to Orlando to tape your show. In 2007 my girlfriend was returning from there on March 31st, which is her birthday, and I called her for the first time (we met on line) and we met up later that night. It is 2010 and we are still together very much in love. I feel like you play a part in that because she saw you and she met me. We live in Clearwater which is only approximately 2 hours from Orlando. I am hoping I can get tickets to surprise her for her birthday, which coincedently is also our 3rd anniversary. DAR ELLEN, MY SISTER AND I ARE TAKING MY NIECES TO UNIVERSAL ORLANDO AT THE TIME YOU ARE THERE. MY SISTER TAKES ME EVERYTIME SHE GOES AND I WOULD LOVE TO GET TICKETS TO SEE YOUR SHOW. SHE LOVES YOUR SHOW AND I WOULD LOVE LOVE FOR HER TO BE AT THE TAPING. MY SISTER IS SO GOOD TO ME THAT WHEN SHE GOES ON VACATION SHE PAYS FOR ME TO GO WITH HER. well it states on the website that they call u .. if u won some tickets… but what i want to know is if ellen is tapin at orlando universal do we have to buy tickets to universal that day

My daughter Sam and a huge fan. She really needs a break from her college life to see you. She moved 24 hours away to go to college. I am very proud of her independence. I would love to be able to surprise her.
