‘Da Coach’ opening two Orlando resorts

“Da Coach” Mike Ditka, former NFL Coach of the 1985 Super Bowl champs, the Chicago Bears, will soon celebrate his latest victory with the official grand opening of the first two Mike Ditka Resorts in Orlando, Lighthouse Key Resort & Spa and Runaway Beach Club Resort.
Ditka will be in Orlando Feb. 27 to unveil the new resorts to the media and VIPs. Lighthouse Key Resort & Spa and Runaway Beach Club Resort are both located in the heart of the Orlando attractions area.
Lighthouse Key Resort & Spa is a gated resort community featuring two-, three- and four-bedroom lakefront villas furnished in West Indies decor. The new villas feature fully equipped kitchens, private lanais, master suites, separate dining and living rooms, in-home washers and dryers, and a 42-inch television in each villa’s great room. The resort features a full-service 4,600-square-foot European-style spa, a heated zero-depth entry freeform swimming pool, resort-style pool and hot tub, health and fitness center, 50-seat movie theater, billiards room, game room, meeting facilities, a grand clubhouse, deli and gift shop, business center, meeting space, poolside bar and high speed wireless Internet service throughout the resort. My family stayed for a week in September at Lighthouse Key. The kids loved it – they thought the theatre was great! My wife and I really enjoyed our couple’s massage.
For the price, I never expected something so grand. Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed at this resort for Memorial Weekend, and let me tell you even for the holiday I think we got a steal deal on this property. The rooms were as big as my 3 bedroom 2 bath house, and they are beautifuly kept and decorated. The arcade and movie theatre was a big plus when we got back from the parks, the kids could go on their own and we didnt feel like we had to worry about them. Great place great price dont think we could comment anything negative about it.
