Howl-O-Scream’s Raven Twins to visit Orlando

Busch Gardens will help kick off Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend in Orlando tomorrow with a special appearance by their Howl-O-Scream icons, the Raven Twins. The actresses who originated the roles of Lara and Lana Raven for the advertising campaign will take part in the Zombie Walk opening ceremony, which kicks off the annual three-day horror convention.
The twins will be available for photos and autograph signings from 3 to 4 p.m. at the pre-walk “Hearse Show,” taking place at 8126 International Boulevard in the T.G.I. Friday’s parking lot across the street from the Wyndham Hotel. Then, at 4 p.m., the twins will join representatives from The Deadite Empire to kick off the second annual Zombie Walk, which features hundreds of costumed volunteers lurching across I-Drive to celebrate the Ultimate Horror Weekend’s opening night. (Even though the twins are not really zombies.)
Howl-O-Scream representatives will be at the convention all weekend, with giveaways and ticket drawings to share information about Busch Gardens’ nationally ranked Halloween event, which takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night through Nov. 1.
Howl-O-Scream 2008 is a separate-ticketed event, and the general admission price is $64.95. Savings are available on advance ticket purchases for Passport Members, Florida Residents and with a coupon from participating Muvico Theaters or Budweiser retailers throughout the state. The Raven Story ( From The Busch Gardens, Howl-o-screams 2008): There was two twin sisters; Lara & Lana, who were conjoined at the face. They were both extremely beautiful & smart, however they had 2 extremely different personailty. Lara is the outgoing twin, Lana is mostly follows her sister’s lead. One day, Lana got sick & a doctor came & took care of them. He was the first man to pay attention to them, since they were hid from the world. The Twins confessed their love for him, the doctor rejected the saying he was already engaged & he would only date “normal” girls anyway. Crushed & Heartbroken, That night, The Twins broken a piece of glass from their mirror & seperated themselves. They ruined their faces but they didn’t care. So Much Hate, They had for him. They ended up killing the doctor & his fiance.Then, they took the skin from the fiance’s face & sewed it onto their’s. Lana took of the fiance’s eyes to feel more “normal”
