Earlier today, March 21, 2009, the 16th annual Epcot Flower and Garden Festival officially opened with a celebration outside the new topiary-filled Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden:

Disney Fairies Tinker Bell, Iridessa, Fawn, Silvermist, and Rosetta made an appearance, leading a group of young fairies-in-training. Also in attendance were Klay Hall and Sean Lurie, the director and producer (respectively) of the upcoming film, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, as well as Epcot’s new vice president, Dan Cockerell.

Yes, Dan Cockerell is Lee Cockerell’s son! Lots of Disney history being built in that family.
