Video: John C. Reilly and costars discuss ‘The Vampire’s Assistant’ movie

Just before the opening of Halloween Horror Nights 19, Universal Studios Orlando held a promotional event for the upcoming film, “Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant.” The movie’s stars, John C. Reilly, Chris Massoglia and Josh Hutcherson, were in attendance. They premiered two clips for the audience and answered questions.
At Halloween Horror Nights, actor John C. Reilly meets with sideshow freaks inspired by his upcoming film “Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant.”

I read the books… I watched the trailer… and I’m not sure. I’m not getting the feel that the main character, Darren, was forced into being a vampire so much as he was bored. This film seems to have a very different vibe. Halloween Horror nights looks awesome though.
