We had a chance to visit SeaWorld yesterday for the first day of this year’s Halloween Spooktacular. If you haven’t been, it’s really not spooky at all, as you can see in the video and photos below. It’s great for the kids and the adults may also enjoy watching some of the characters interact. All will enjoy the free candy and treats. I particularly enjoyed mixing the peanut butter with the pretzel crackers and bananas.

New this year, and previously unannounced is Abby’s Halloween Adventure featuring Abby Cadabby from “Sesame Street”. The smaller kids will enjoy helping her hunt for her missing wand through an interactive maze-like queue then meet and get their picture with Abby.

Unlike the Halloween events at the other local theme parks, this one is free with park admission. The Spooktacular starts at noon each weekend day through October, and on Friday, Oct. 30. More information can be found here.
