Taping continues on Dec. 4 and 5 and will be aired on Dec. 25 on ABC.

The Goodyear Blimp hovered over the Magic Kingdom during today’s performance tapings.
Pianist and composer Yanni played the piano.
Accompanying Yanni were a set of singers.
Kris Allen, the most-recent winner of “American Idol”, took the stage and performed a song with a band.

Regis Philbin has hosted the annual Disney Christmas Day Parade for many years but due to his recent hip surgery, he was unable to make it to this year’s taping. In his place, singer Nick Cannon (pictured here) hosts the event.

I’m so excited and I can’t wait to watch and hear the whole concert the 25th. Me and my 10 year old daughter went to see you when you were here in San Diego, Ca. Actually my daughter was waiting and counting the days left to go and see you on June 20th; she was so happy ! Your music let us vibrate and inspirate to do more than 100% and spiritually as well. That was the most beautiful O Holy Night I have ever heard..and I have heard many as it is my favorite Christmas song. I was in tears within the first 15 seconds. Had never heard of Yanni and his Voices….but have researched and read all I can. You are all amazing. Even when I don’t understand the language / words…your music is very touching. O Holy Night…THE MOST BEAUTIFUL song and voices I have ever heard…..ever…!!

today i saw some texts from some body that didn’t know YANNI
and today they’ve know YANNI and will love him so much
he has created many magic musics and i think about some thing like that what happens in his childhood life that he could creates these musics it’s about 8 years that i know him and everyday i am listen to his musics what his visual concerts and mp3 musics and they ‘re clear my brain. I LOVE YOU YANNI I DON’T KNOW HOW CAN i TELL YOU MY FEELING ? every day that i listen to YANNI’s musics i feeling cry and a madness love about him it’s one of my big wishes to be one of his musician in hi s concerts like a guitar player.

Hammered dulcimer
The hammered dulcimer (also known as the hammer dulcimer) is a stringed musical instrument with the strings stretched over a trapezoidal sounding board. The instrument is typically set at an angle on a stand in front of the musician, who holds a small mallet, called a hammer in each hand with which to strike the strings (for the plucked Appalachian dulcimer, see Appalachian dulcimer). The word dulcimer comes from the Latin dulcis or “sweet” and the Greek melos, meaning “song”. The origin of the instrument is uncertain, but tradition holds that it was invented in Iran roughly 2000 years ago, where it is called a Santur. (See also Santoor, a folk instrument from the Kashmir region.)
I Love you so much and i love your music, i saw your yanni voices video and you introduce the hammer dulcimer the american instrument, but i want to say that this is a traditional IRANIAN instrument that we called it SANTUR.
