The Shanghai Daily newspaper reported today that Shanghai Disney Resort is hiring its first 100 cast members. The roles range from 3D Designer to Waterworks Plumbing Piping Engineer, and are roles for helping to develop the new resort, which opens in 2015.

Here’s a computer graphics video showing details inside Shanghai Disneyland’s castle. It will be known as Enchanted Storybook Castle and will represent all the Disney princesses.


The castle will be the largest at any Disney park. Guests will be able to visit several floors, as seen here. Take note also of the central skylight dome.

The video also circles to the back of the castle, and shows cutaway interior details there.

You can also see details beneath the castle. The multi-level castle will feature a princess meet and greet, a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Once Upon a Time Adventure walkthrough. The castle will also be part of a Fantasyland boat ride attraction.
