Star Trek: The Exhibition now open on International Drive

If you missed Star Trek: The Exhibition when it was at Kennedy Space Center last summer, or just want to revisit it, you’re in luck. The exhibit is now sharing space with CSI: The Experience on International Drive.
Under a license from CBS Consumer Products, Star Trek: The Exhibition is the largest collection of authentic Star Trek artifacts and information ever put on public display. The exhibit features sets, 
one-of-a-kind costumes and props from all five Star Trek television series and 10 Star Trek feature films. Together these components offer Star Trek fans and novices alike an opportunity to experience first-hand the imagination, artistry, technology and meticulous craftsmanship that have made Star Trek one of the most enduring science-fiction franchise in history.
“After the successful opening of our first blockbuster exhibition “CSI: The Experience”, we feel that the Orlando market is ready for another hit exhibit,” says Christoph Rahofer, president and CEO of EMS Exhibits, producer of international high quality touring shows. “Our venue, 7220 IDrive.com, can accommodate numerous exhibitions simultaneously, offering visitors a convenient way to have a fun day at a first class location experiencing several shows.”
Spanning 10,000 square feet, Star Trek: The Exhibition allows visitors to step aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, explore the original bridge from Star Trek: The Original Series, see the life-sized ship model of the scorpion from Star Trek: Nemesis and sit in James T. Kirk’s captain’s chair.
Star Trek: The Exhibition is located at 7220 International Drive. The admission price is $15.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 5-12. A combo-ticket for Star Trek: The Exhibition and CSI: The Experience is $29.95 for adults and $18.95 for children ages 5-12. The exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The last admission at 8 p.m.

Not sure if you guys are still keeping up with info on this one but I’m hearing rumors that this was closed suddenly over the weekend when various things have said it would be open until the end of the month at least.

Wouldve been nice to know before we made plans and drove all the way out to orlando that the star trek experience is no longer there! Checked multiple websites and called ticket hotline…no mention whatsoever the attraction had moved on to asia. Extemely disapointed in lack of competence with updating info.
