A new limited-time attraction opened this weekend at Downtown Disney West Side. Guests can interact with characters from the Disney animated TV show Phineas and Ferb on a big screen and receive a photo of their experience. The free attraction is called Phineas and Ferb & You – A Brand New Reality.

It’s set up in the grassy area next to Bongos. The lines weren’t long at all on Saturday afternoon. But it was the first day it was open and I think a lot of guests didn’t understand that it’s free.

Cast members tell the guests where to stand and they just interact with what’s happening on the screen. The guy on the right is controlling it with a small tablet computer.

There are about 20 different scenes. Each interaction lasts about 30 seconds. If guests see a scene they’d like before it’s their turn, they can request it.

Some of the interactions include props handed out by the cast members.

After their interaction, guests are given a card with a website address and a number to download or share their photo. Even though the experience has the guests interacting with the characters, a video isn’t provided.
