Fantasy of Flight is hosting a panel entitled, “Legends & Legacies: They Dared to Fly” featuring the original Tuskegee Airmen . This is a rare opportunity to listen to these legendary WWII heroes share their first-hand stories from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. Feb. 7 through 9, 2013.

The panel is a part of the new Legends & Legacies: A Symposium Series honoring brave American heroes whose personal contributions became part of our country’s history and helped shape our society. These intimate talks provide an opportunity to learn about the personal struggles, challenges and accomplishments of these Americans. Although the path was not always easy, they faced their challenges with courage and strength.

“They Dared to Fly” will be the first installment in honor of Black History Month. Attendees will be able to join several of the original Tuskegee Airmen as they share their personal experiences of wartime military service during segregated America. This event features open-forum/question-and-answer sessions. Fantasy of Flight’s permanent multimedia Tuskegee Airmen exhibit and vintage aircraft collection, including the P-51C Mustang, provides the backdrop.

The event is included in the price of general admission, which is $29.95 for adults, $27.95 for seniors ages 55 and over and $15.95 for children, ages 6-15. For more information on this event visit FantasyofFlight.com.
