Today, May 1, 2009, marks the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. When it opened two decades ago as the Disney-MGM Studios, it was Walt Disney World’s third theme park rand revolved around the idea of television and movie-making.

The new Disney’s Hollywood Studios logo atop the archway which leads into the animation courtyard is finally up. This was one of the last changes to be made for the name changeover inside the park.
As you can see, it’s a physical 3-D looking sign and not just paint on the wall.
