Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is going to have a wild time this weekend, as “Jungle Jack” Hanna, the internationally-known animal expert is coming to the park May 27-28 to host animal shows, meet-and-greets, autograph signings and more.

Hanna has been widely acclaimed throughout his career as a conversationist, television host, author and adventurer, but is best known for his Emmy Award-winning series “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild,” where viewers can join him on adventures all over the world.

Hanna will tell stories of his travels as well as animal facts during his shows in Stanleyville Theater at 12, 2 and 4 p.m. Admission to all of Hanna’s shows are included with regular park admission, Fun Card or annual pass.

On Saturday, May 27, guests will be able to join “Jungle Jack” on a nighttime trek during the Serengeti Night Safari. The experience will give guests an close look at lions, hyenas and hippos, as well as learn more about their nocturnal habits. The tour also includes a guided safari across Busch Gardens’ 65-acre Serengeti Plain to view their African animals. Guests will finish the 2.5 hour tour sitting around a fire with Hanna as he tells stories of his own African adventures. This safari is $119 per person, and Pass Member discounts are available.

The fun doesn’t end there, however, as on Saturday night, from 5:30 p.m. until 9 a.m. on Sunday, guests can spend the night in one of Busch Gardens’ on-site locations, enjoying fun activities hosted by “Jungle Jack.” The sleepover includes dinner, a continental breakfast, as well as commemorative gifts.

The sleepover is best suited for families with children in grade 3 and above, and costs $78 per person. Pass Member discounts are also available for this experience. Admission to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay isn’t required for the stay, nor is it included in the package, but guests must register in order to attend.

On Sunday, May 28, guests can wake up from their fun sleepover and enjoy breakfast and a meet-and-greet with “Jungle Jack” starting at 10 a.m. Each reservation will include priority seating at Hanna’s 12 p.m. animal show in the Stanleyville Theater. The breakfast is $36 per adult and $18 per child ages 3-9. Infants get in for free, and Pass Member discounts can be applied.

Guests can also get the chance to meet “Jungle Jack” himself, as well as some of his animal friends. This VIP experience will include a private meet and greet, personalized autograph, a commemorative photo and reserved seating for the Jack Hanna Show. This experience is $29.99 per person, and Pass Member discounts are available for this as well.
