Water lovers and philanthropists alike will soon be able to join forces, as Cedar Point and The LeBron James Family Foundation are working together to give guests a chance to experience Cedar Point Shores Waterpark before anyone else on Thursday, May 25.
This fundraising event, called “The First Slide VIP Charity Preview,” will allow guests to ride new attractions and preview the waterpark before it officially opens on May 27. Guests will be treated to some of the food offerings at the Crystal Rock Café as well as other new locations, get their own time on the new slides, as well as receive a limited-edition gift for their charitable contribution.
“As a proud supporter and family member of Cedar Point, we are thrilled to be working with them as they open Cedar Point Shores,” said Michele Campbell, executive director of The LeBron James Family Foundation. “Not only will guests have the first opportunity to experience everything new, they will also help us continue our mission to inspire and support the youth right here in Northeast Ohio through education.”
Guests will be able to test out many new attractions, like Portside Plunge, an inner tube ride, and Point Plummet, a six-story drop slide. There are also attractions for the younger guests, like Storm Surge, SplasH20, and more.
Tickets are available now for $50, and all proceeds will benefit The LeBron James Foundation. Admission includes VIP access to the preview event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as regular admission to Cedar Point on the same day. Tickets are limited.
