The nation’s largest canine event returns to the Orange County Convention Center with new elements sure to excite every dog lover.

Presented by the American Kennel Club and Eukanuba Dog Foods, Celebrate Dogs is a two-day event is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 14, 2014, with plenty of fun and thousands of dogs for the whole family to enjoy.

• It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Super Fido! Marvel at Celebrate Dogs’ first ever Dock Diving competition, where canine athletes will show off their extreme water diving skills in both distance and height.
• Meet and play with more than 140 different dog breeds at AKC Meet the Breeds. This interactive, educational showcase helps individuals learn which breeds are best for their lifestyle, straight from the experts themselves.
• See demos throughout the day, including dancing dogs and owners demonstrating buzz-about “Canine Freestyle” and Police K-9s in action.
• Shop hundreds of Doggie Boutiques to pick up gifts for your favorite dog lover or pet. Find new gear for Fido or beautiful pet-themed jewelry for yourself.

Celebrate Dogs is also home to one of the world’s premiere dog events, the 2014 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship (AENC), where the nation’s top canine competitors will vie for the coveted Best in Show honor, the title of National Champion and the highest cash prize offered for any AKC Dog Show. This year, AENC will introduce a Veteran’s Class in each breed, culminating with a Best Veteran in Show.

Other event highlights will include the AKC Agility Invitational, the AKC Obedience Classic, the National Owner Handled Series finals and Juniors competition in Conformation, Agility, Obedience and, for the first time, Rally.
