Central Florida Home & Garden Show returns to Orlando

Central Florida’s longest-running home improvement event returns to the Orange County Convention Center in April. The Central Florida Home and Garden Show will run from Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17, and will feature local and national experts in the field, how-to seminars, giveaways, and hundreds of exhibits to peruse.

Some of the experts on the show agenda include Andrew Downward, of HGTV’s Divine Design, as well as Gaard Swanson, former host of HGTV’s Generation Renovation. Country star Chuck Wicks will also be on hand for a live acoustic performance on Friday evening, which is free with admission.

Also featured is the Parade of Homes Builder Boulevard, where guests can walk along the Builder Boulevard and have experts answer their questions on various topics. Guests can also walk through more than 6,000 square feet of gardens, designed by local landscapers. In addition, the Cooking Stage will feature some of Orlando’s top chefs and culinary experts, who will offer up some of the best dishes of the spring season.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children 13-18, with children 12 and under free. On Friday and Saturday, admission is only $5 after 5 p.m. Online advance tickets receive a $3 discount off the $10 adult price. More information can be found at the Home and Garden Show website.

  1. Garden shows are a great source of learning. I came to know about the importance of organic foods from one of the garden shows held in our place. And from that day I make it a point to attend every possible show as I am a garden lover. I have 15 different plants in my Conservatory and office.
