All children 5 and under will now receive free admission to the Museum of Science & Industry in Tampa (MOSI).

MOSI offers a wide variety of preschool programs and activities to keep younger children engaged. As the only institution solely dedicated to science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) education, MOSI continues to make accessibility a priority. With MOSI now offering free admission to all children 5 and under, in addition to its participation in the Blue Star Museums initiative, its recent announcement of free memberships for Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas county school employees, and providing 400 Summer Science Camp scholarships this year, MOSI now gives approximately $4 million back to the community annually in free tickets, memberships, scholarships, outreach and educator trainings.

In addition to holding several annual discounted admission days, including five $5 day events just last year, MOSI also hosts more than 1,200 middle school students of migrant families each year through its Meet the Scientist Day, as part of the National Hispanic Scientist of the Year event.

MOSI is a non-profit, community-based institution and educational resource that is dedicated to advancing public interest, knowledge, and understanding of STEAM. MOSI’s core ideology is to make a difference in people’s lives by making science real for people of all ages and backgrounds.
