Daytime holiday festivities kick off at Busch Gardens Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa’s annual daytime holiday festivities kicked off this past weekend. Festivities include the shows; Christmas On Ice, Christmas Celebration, Christmas From The Heart; and festive decorations.

Christmas spirit is in the air when Busch Gardens presents Christmas on Ice, a limited-engagement ice show with a cast of professional skaters bringing a graceful winter wonderland to life. Don’t worry, Iceploration will be back in January when Christmas On Ice comes to a close for the season.

Santa’s Christmas Workshop is also now open and has more Christmas gifts than ever from Busch Gardens ornaments to classic nativity sets. The store also features Christmas treats and stocking stuffers for the young ones. Check out a video walk-through of the store below:

The Marrakesh Theater decks the halls with Christmas from the Heart, featuring inspiring holiday gospel and spiritual songs performed by a live choir. In Desert Grill, join a Christmas Celebration, the musical extravaganza featuring seasonal songs, tap-dancing toy soldiers and fun for the whole family.

The rest of the park is transformed into a holiday wonderland featuring festive decorations and classic holiday music. But the holiday spirit doesn’t stop there, starting on Nov. 30, 2012, thousands of twinkling Christmas lights will take over when Christmas Town comes to Busch Gardens for the first time ever with special entertainment, live music, festive treats, and holiday shopping. Christmas Town is a seperate-ticketed event that will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 11 p.m., Nov. 30 through Dec. 23, 2012.
