Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns this March
The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is returning to the Disneyland Resort for six weeks this year, from March 2 – April 12. The festival will feature plenty of fare inspired by the Golden State, as well as entertainment, celebrity chefs and more for guests to enjoy.
The festival will feature a variety of offerings for the whole family, including unique food and beverage options at over a dozen Festival Marketplaces. Guests can see presentations and demonstrations with celebrity chefs like Robert Irvine, Guy Fieri, Shaun O’Neale and Alex Guarnaschelli; along with winemaker dinners; beer, wine and spirit seminars; food and beverage tastings and more. There will also be live music, special activities and entertainment, all themed to the “California vibe” of the festival.
At the Festival Marketplaces, guests can sample a variety of California-inspired small plates with California-grown ingredients like strawberries, avocado, citrus, peppers and artisanal cheese. Guests can also try out a selection of locally brewed craft beers and wines from all over the state.
Family-friendly seminars will be held at the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land and feature multiple topics, cooking seminars and more on select days throughout the event. The seminars will cover topics like growing your own vegetables, learning how to prepare some of the offerings at the Festival Markets, and more.
Another guests favorite retuning to the festival is the Junior Chef experience, a complimentary hands-on activity let by Chef Goofy for kids age 3-11. The aspiring young chefs will get to follow a recipe and mix up ingredients to create magical treats, all leading up to a tasty surprise at the end.
Guests looking for something to please their palate will want to check out the festival’s signature events, including new offerings like Celebrity Chef LIVE! at the Hyperion, as well as returning events like the Disney Family of Wines Dinner, Winemaker and Brewmaster Dinners and Sweet Sundays.

- David Arthur Winemaker Dinner at Carthay Circle Restaurant – April 5
Much of the offerings during the festival are included with admission to Disney California Adventure Park, though signature events and seminars will require a separate fee.
