Disney, Mold-A-Rama and old Florida highlight collectibles show on Sunday

This Sunday, June 8, 2014 memorabilia dealers from around the country will gather for a one day collectibles show at Fantasy of Flight.

The Florida Vintage Travel Collectibles Show is a celebration of the history of travel and vacations in Florida. The show will showcase old Florida and Disneyana memorabilia along with souvenirs and relics from the Florida’s most famous attractions.

Theme Park Connection, the event’s main sponsor, will ensure every Disney fan will be treated to a wide variety of Walt Disney World souvenirs including many one of a kind items from the parks. They will also be sponsoring pin and vinylmation trading as well as offering hourly door prizes and trivia contests.

The featured guest is Ron Schneider, the original DreamFinder at Epcot and veteran theme park performer. He will be signing his book From Dreamer to Dreamfinder: 40 years behind a name tag . Another special engagement is the return of the Mold-A-Rama machines from Cypress Gardens and a selection of vintage figures from the archives the owners and operators of Mold-A-Matic in Florida.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Fantasy of Flight (located between Tampa and Orlando off I-4 exit 44.) Admission is $8 and includes free appraisals. For more information follow Florida Collectors on Facebook.
