Enhanced Spider-Man ride to reopen March 8 – Unlock preview scenes online

Are your spidey senses tingling yet? In just one week, the reanimated and upgraded Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man attraction at Universal’s Islands of Adventure will reopen. Set your calendars for Thursday, March 8 as the day to see the all-new 4K digital high-definition animation, hear a new musical score and try on a pair of 3D “Spider-Vision” glasses.

For the first time ever, Universal Orlando is giving fans the opportunity to unlock sneak peeks of the new hi-def ride animation before the attraction reopens. Here’s the first look:

Here are some highlights to be on the lookout for when you ride:

• Legendary comic book icon and Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee makes a cameo appearance in the new film animation.
• The action is more life-like than ever. Guests will actually see the movement of the characters’ muscles and the changes in their facial expressions.
• The enhanced attraction features a new original music score. It is the same Spider-Man theme you love – with a rockin’ twist.
• The ride vehicle audio system has been upgraded from 8-channel to 16-channel so riders will be even more immersed in the action. Guests will experience 3D sound quality.
• There are hundreds of cool new details for guests to discover in the attraction. Lighting, sets, graphics, props and even scenic detail have been updated to further enhance the animation’s tremendous improvements.
