The Escape Game Orlando debuts Gold Rush

Escape Room attractions have exploded in the Orlando area over the last couple years, and now The Escape Game Orlando is expanding with the debut of a new “Gold Rush” scenario. The International Drive venue’s newest treasure hunt features fresh clues, themed scenery, and an all new ore-inspired storyline, that sees players seeking a greedy prosepector’s secret stash before the mob can find it.

Like all escape room games, Gold Rush challenges teams of players to find hidden objects and solve logic puzzles in a confined space before time runs out. If you’ve never experienced one, you can get an idea of what they are like from this episode of “Attractions Magazine – The Show” featuring a report from The Dig, a temporary escape room offered last year at Universal Studios Florida:

“Gold Rush is filled with surprise twists and engaging tasks that will be fun for first-timers or the most advanced escape artists,” said Jonathan Murrell, co-founder of The Escape Game. “We’re excited to introduce Gold Rush to Orlando and welcome all who are up for a challenge.” 

The Escape Game Orlando is located at 8145 International Drive. Games are available for booking daily. Each game is designed for groups of two to eight participants. Games are recommended for ages 12 and up, and players 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
