Finally! A full look inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure
While the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal’s Islands of Adventure wasn’t open to everyone today, those who pre-purchased a special hotel package were allowed in for a couple of hours.
While we haven’t been in yet, reader Chris Nash from Chicago was part of the lucky group and he returned with a bunch of photos. His large photo gallery is below. (You can see more of Chris’ theme park photos Here.)
Chris also provided us this video of the Frog Choir singing near the back of Hogsmeade. We’ll be bringing you more video soon.
There’s no word on when Universal Passholders or other regular guests will be allowed in. For now, the hotel package previews will continue each morning. The grand opening date for everyone is June 18, 2010.

I’m coming down next week. I’m thinking of getting a hotel room just to get in. How does the hotel key work to get in? Do they count how many people with the key? We have 9 people in our party.
Bob, you just show up at the gates around 7:30 to 7:45 with your park ticket and room keys. Each person needs a key. If 9 are staying in your room, you should all be able to get keys at the front desk.
