Fly through holiday lights at Florida EcoSafaris' new Holiday Lights Zipline Safari
Looking for a unique holiday adventure? Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida has announced their new Holiday Lights Zipline Safari that takes guests through the Forever Florida Wildlife Conservation Area fifty‐five feet off the ground amid dancing colorful lights and music.
The two and a half hour experience allows guests an opportunity to spot wildlife, zip through the treetops at up to 25 mph, and enjoy a nightly light show synchronized to holiday music.
“Each of the different zipline runs has its own unique character,” said Ken Wilshire, General Manager of Florida EcoSafaris. “We’ve gone to great lengths to match up the lights and music to really maximize the thrills.”
The course features seven different ziplines, nine aerial observation platforms and two sky bridges. The special holiday adventure runs Friday and Saturday nights from Dec. 4 – 19.
Tickets for the Holiday Lights Zipline Safari are $65 for Florida Residents and $85 for Non‐Florida Residents. Participants must be age ten or older and weigh between 70 and 275lbs. Guests should allow for a four hour visit including check‐in, transport by safari coach and the Holiday Lights Zipline Safari.
While we haven’t seen the holiday version of the Zipline Safari, we did enjoy the regular daytime version when it first premiered in March. You can read more about it in Volume 2, Issue 2. Here’s a video of the experience we shot on opening day:
I am very, very anxious to try this out. Am hoping to make it sometime over the holiday season.
