The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will run for a record 75 days this year.

Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating its 35th anniversary, and to celebrate, a record number of 35 global food and wine marketplaces and kiosks will be present at this year’s International Food & Wine Festival. This year’s festival gets even better, as it will extend its run for 75 days – longer than any other previous Food & Wine Festival.

This year, the Food & Wine Festival will run from Aug. 31 – Nov. 13, 2017. With 13 extra days to enjoy all of the flavors that Food & Wine has to offer, guests will be able to take even more time to enjoy the sights of Epcot, the smells and tastes of the savory food and beverages, as well as the sounds of the Eat to the Beat concert series.

Many new marketplaces will be announced this summer, but two fan-favorites are returning this year: Spain and India. With hypnotic dishes like Charcuterie in a cone from Spain, and Pistachio Cardamom Bundt Cake from India, guests will not be able to get enough of the international flavors in store. Global marketplaces will also return to Future World for even more food offerings.

The workshop series “Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!,” which made its debut in 2016, will return again for another year with new ways for guests to interact with chefs and get hands-on experience with unique topics.

Popular chefs from television and beyond will be present to entertain guests at the Festival Center during their demonstrations. The guest chefs will also be present for premium events during the Festival, such as the Party for the Senses tastings.

The “Eat to the Beat” concert series will now host three nightly performances at the America Gardens Theatre stage, with new musical acts spanning an array of genres.

This year’s festival will focus on family and the bonds that we make over food. This focus will be showcased in inspired dishes that cater to children’s palates, as well as in cooking demonstrations designed to get the whole family working together.

As this year’s focus is on the family, there will be many fun opportunities to be had around the World Showcase:

  • Beverage seminars and culinary demonstrations, which will offer tasting and learning opportunities daily at the Festival Center. On Saturdays, guests can enjoy special cheese seminars.
  • Ratatouille will return to the festival this year with an all-new scavenger hunt adventure that will get the whole family working and playing together.
  • The Back to Basics Festival Center weekend series will share tips and tricks from professionals in the culinary industry, as well as host bottle and book signings. Guests will also be able to enjoy Ghirardelli’s “The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar,” which also includes free samples.

Guests will be able to book their places at premium Food & Wine events starting this summer, which include the Party for the Senses tasting events, specialty dining and pairing events at select dining locations around the World Showcase, and premium resort events, like the “Grand Floridian Brunch with a Twist,” and more. These special programming events require reservations and separate admission fees. To book your spot once dates are announced, call 407-WDW-FEST.

Admission into the 22nd Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is included with regular park admission, and includes all kiosks, marketplaces, and Eat to the Beat concerts. For more information on the Food & Wine Festival, visit epcotfoodfestival.com.
