Get a sneak peek inside Pandora – The World of Avatar coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

New videos released by Disney give us our first major look inside Pandora – The World of Avatar and the Na’vi River Journey boat ride, opening May 27, 2017 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The all-new land will take guests into a mystical world of massive floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and new experiences. Pandora will be the largest addition in the history of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

These videos offer our first big looks at floating mountains and the plants and scenery guests will walk through inside Pandora, as well as some the bioluminescence and creatures guests will encounter aboard the Na’vi River Journey. Check out the videos below.

  1. I believe that this is going to be a huge flop. It’s made from a move that was released almost 20 years ago. Huge success at the time but limited appeal now. Most people have watch the movie just once and they were done compared to Harry Potter which has millions and millions of followers and most people have either read the books several times or seen the movies several time. Disney had a chance to pick up Potter and turned it down. I have to wonder about the people running Disney now. Disney dropped the ball on this one and it’s going to cost the stockholders. Then add the Beauty and the Beast movie being released this week with its gay overtones. Seriously wondering what the executives at Disney are thinking.

  2. …and, there are three new Avatar movies in production…nothing new from Harry Potter that I’m aware of unless you count Fantastic Beasts which didn’t have nearly the same appeal
