Jungle Cruise themed restaurant coming to Magic Kingdom

The skippers of the Jungle Cruise are expanding their services from boat tours to food service.

The Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen is coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, opening in Adventureland later this year. Currently under construction, guests at the restaurant will be able to enjoy “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” as the Jungle Cruise Skippers serve guests in rooms such as a crew mess hall and secret meeting room for the famed Society of Explorers and Adventurers.

The Skipper Canteen will be located in the area behind Sunshine Tree Terrace. The space formerly housed the Adventureland Veranda restaurant, and more recently a meet and greet with Tinker Bell.
