NASA Now at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has unveiled their newest addition: a Boeing CST-100 Starliner space vehicle.

When visiting the NASA Now attraction at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, guests can experience the past, present, and future of space travel and exploration like never before.

With up-close looks into modern vehicles that have traveled into space, as well as vehicles created for the future, guests can get an unprecedented look at space travel as it is today.

Recently, NASA Now grew its collection with the addition of a full-scale Boeing engineering model of its CST-100 Starliner vehicle.

Originally built in 2010, this Starliner mock-up brings to life the computer-aided designs of the spacecraft. The Starliner can be viewed with its hatch open, allowing guests to see inside America’s new space crew capsule. In the fall, guests will be able to look inside the vehicle and see how it will be configured to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station starting in 2018.

This mock-up also allows Boeing engineers to have access to a physical model to test the design for astronauts and cargo, along with performing engineering verifications.
