Kids can learn the ways of a pirate at the Orlando Science Center this week

Ahoy mates! There are pirate adventures to be had this week in KidsTown at the Orlando Science Center. On Saturday, the pirates will welcome parents and kids into their world for a building-wide adventure.

The Science Center’s kid-friendly pirate week runs today, then again from Sept. 16 to 19, 2010. In addition to pirate crafts, games, songs and prizes, kids can meet some wretched crews from:
• Arrr, Ink
• Brothers of the Coast
• Pirate Cove Adventure Golf
• Captain Memo’s Pirate Cruise
• Dinner Adventure Theatre
• Pyrates of the Coast
• Searle’s Buccaneers

Other activities include learning stage combat, seeing how the scourges of the seas use black powder to get the most “bang” for the buck and a show on “history versus Hollywood”.
