Kinetix is back for Busch Gardens’ Summer Nights – Plus ride Cheetah Hunt in the dark

Now through Aug. 14, Busch Gardens is celebrating Summer Nights, offering extended park hours and special entertainment, including the return of Kinetix. New this year will be the opportunity for guests to ride the all-new Cheetah Hunt roller coaster in the dark.

For Summer Nights, park hours are extended to 9 p.m. on Sundays to Thursdays, and until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Beginning at 5 p.m., Party Starters can be found at three DJ Stations throughout the park, located in Jungala, Stanleyville and Gwazi Plaza. The Party Starters will provide music, dancing, and games, and on Fridays and Saturdays, they will host a Dance-Off Competition. The Dance-Off will begin at 7 p.m. in Desert Grill and consist of three rounds, with the audience ultimately deciding the winner, who will receive four free tickets to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

The Kinetix show will be performed nightly at 9 p.m. in Gwazi Park, and includes live music, singers, dancers, and artists from around the world. Summer Nights will also premiere a new performance this year, “Cool Allusions featuring Christopher Cool,” which features magician Christopher Cool performing his tricks every Tuesday to Sunday (and July 4) at the top of each hour from 5 to 8 p.m.
