Registration is now open for this year’s Brick Dash 5K at Legoland Florida Resort.

Registration is now open for this year’s Brick Dash 5K, the run/walk race on Saturday, April 14 at Legoland Florida Resort.

This race, held in collaboration with Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing, will benefit Merlin’s Magic Wand, the global children’s charity of Legoland’s parent company Merlin Entertainments Group.

Merlin’s Magic Wand is a worldwide charity that helps disabled, disadvantaged and seriously ill children and their families enjoy a magical day at over 120 Merlin Entertainments attractions around the world. For those who are unable to visit a Merlin attraction, the charity creates Merlin’s Magic Spaces in local community facilities that serve children’s needs.

The event starts at 7 a.m. with a 5K race that will send participants throughout Legoland Florida Resort, as well as the Cypress Gardens area, which will be followed by the half-mile “fun run” for kids at 8 a.m.

Lego characters like Wyldstyle, Kai, Emmet, Nya, Benny and Master Wu will be there to cheer on walkers and runners alike during both races.
