Main Event Entertainment has officially opened its first Florida-based location at Pointe Orlando on International Drive.

The new location is the 30th Main Event nationwide and first in Florida. The dining and entertainment destination features American fare and handcrafted cocktails, over 100 virtual and interactive games, state-of-the-art bowling and V Play Reality, the first U.S. free roam multi-player virtual reality game. The 45,000 square-foot entertainment complex showcases the center’s newest design prototype.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors at Pointe Orlando and we welcome a brand-new group of guests into what we think is a truly unique entertainment experience in Orlando,” said Main Event Entertainment CEO Charlie Keegan. “Main Event at Pointe Orlando will have something for everyone whether you’re 5 or 95 and we are confident that our Eat Bowl Play concept will become a staple for both locals and tourists alike.”

During a special grand opening event, Main Event Entertainment Vice President of Operations, Wayne Stancil, and Main Event at Pointe Orlando General Manager, Toni Donehoo, presented a donation check for $2,500 to three members of the United States Marine Corps, who were in attendance representing the Orlando chapter of Toys For Tots. The venue is also an official toy drop-off location during this holiday season.

Main Event’s unique Eat.Bowl.Play. experience expands to full-service catering with private rooms, free Wi-Fi and the latest audiovisual technology for holiday parties, company meetings, team-building exercises, social gatherings, birthday celebrations and large group events.
