Marketplace Fun Finds store opens at Downtown Disney

A new store has opened in the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney. Marketplace Fun Finds opened last weekend in the former Pooh Corner store.

Pooh Corner and Mickey’s Mart were closed last year to make way for the new Fun Finds store and the relocated Little MissMatched store. Little MissMatched closed their West Side location recently will be re-opening soon next door to Fun Finds.

The new store is similar to the former Mickey’s Mart, but instead of everything being $10 and under, at Fun Finds, everything is $20 or less. The store decor has been designed to allow them to change to match the seasons.

Different areas of the store are marked with the different price ranges.

This area of the store is marked 5 for $20, but you can also buy just one item from this section for $4.

Like they were in Mickey’s Mart, grab bags are available.

  1. Okay….. Isn’t this just another Disney store like all the others? At least Mickey’s Mart made it very affordable to get your kids a little more. $20 is about the same as all other Disney stores for the average toy. 🙁 At least they changed the name and aren’t trying to COMPLETELY pass it off as the same thing.

  2. As if they hadn’t taken enough of Pooh out of Disney Stores and such, now this? I am so dissappointed. I am a huge pooh fan. I’m sure you can guess because of my name. It is getting harder and harder to find Pooh memorabilia. But I guess one good thing, it makes my pooh collection more valuable if it is harder to find. I’be been collecting for more than 35 years. Anyway, I will miss Pooh Corner!

  3. Like Winnie, I too am greatly disappointed in the closing of Pooh Corner. It is getting harder to find Pooh things even in the parks and I could always count on going there and finding something “Pooh”. I was at DW in March and a cast member told me that the store was just being renovated and would be opening again soon. Now I am reading it is closed for good. I hope they reconsider their decision and the desires of many of us who enjoyed shopping at Pooh Corner.

  4. In my country there are no grab bags. I’m grasping the meaning of it: I think it’s a bag with sale items that one buys without knowing exactly what’s inside. Am I correct or can you check the items in the grab bag before buying it?
