Meet Chef Emeril Lagasse at CityWalk on Monday

Chef Emeril Lagasse will be at Universal CityWalk from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 to sign copies of his newest cookbook, “Emeril 20-40-60: Fresh Food Fast.” CityWalk guests will have the opportunity to meet Lagasse and purchase the cookbook. The book signing will take place near Emeril’s restaurant.

“Emeril 20-40-60” includes simple techniques and quick-tips to create healthy meals for the family on-the-go. Just in time for the holidays, this book also features quick and delicious dishes perfect for entertaining.

Chef Emeril Lagasse is the chef/proprietor of 13 restaurants including Emeril’s Orlando, Emeril’s Tchoup Chop and Emeril’s Miami Beach. He is the author of 14 best-selling cookbooks, and has hosted more than 1,500 TV episodes on the Food Network. He is the food correspondent for ABC’s Good Morning America, and the host for Emeril Green, an original series on Discovery’s Planet Green.

Since opening in 1999, Emeril’s Orlando features Lagasse’s signature “New New Orleans” style cuisine. The open-action kitchen, chef’s food bar and a 12,000-bottle wine cellar on the second floor allow guests to experience his creative cooking up close.

Emeril’s second restaurant at Universal Orlando, Tchoup Chop, features Polynesian-Asian cuisine with Chef Emeril’s bold flavors, a lush tropical setting and creative tiki-inspired concoctions at the nearby Loews Royal Pacific Resort.
