MegaCon returns to Orlando with Stan Lee and William Shatner among participating celebrities

This weekend, March 25 to 27, the Orange County Convention Center will welcome back MegaCon, a science-fiction/fantasy and comic book convention, featuring celebrity appearances and photo-ops, panels and presentations, merchandise and collectibles and more.

Most media and comic book guests are available for autograph signings (prices vary depending on the celebrity), and some are also available for photo ops at an additional charge. There will also be Q&A sessions with some guests, as well as panels, screenings, auctions, and more.

Dozens of exhibitors and vendors will also be in attendance, selling comic books, collectibles, toys, apparel, and much more. Artist’s Alley features both established and upcoming artists and provides them with the opportunity to sell their work and display it for comic book creators, publishers and distributors.

Some other areas and events of interest include the Tattoo Pavilion, where several tattoo artists are available; costume contests; dance parties; workshops; film festivals; and much more.

This year, popular media guests include comic book legend Stan Lee, and several Star Trek series alumni, including:

Jonathan Frakes – Commander Riker, ST: The Next Generation
Michael Dorn – Lieutenant Worf, ST: TNG

Advance online tickets are $23.96 for single-day admission, and $56.45 for all three days.  Children 10 and under are free. Special packages include the Stan Lee VIP Experience and the William Shatner Captain’s Reception. For more information, go here.
