‘Myth Explorer’ to promote upcoming King Kong attraction at Universal Orlando

A new website, social media channels and online series have launched by Universal Orlando to promote their upcoming King Kong attraction: Skull Island: Reign of Kong.

Those interested in following along can head to MythExplorer.com to learn about “The Quest for Kong” and the team leading the investigation. Erin Ryder, who has been part of SyFy’s “Destination Truth” and National Geographic Channel’s “Chasing UFOs” is hosting the online series.

According to the website, “On Myth Explorer, Erin and her crew brave an island that doesn’t appear on any official map — a rocky, skull-shaped jungle in the Indian Ocean where the story of King Kong originated. Join her quest to uncover the facts that prove the colossal legend is real.”

You can also follow Myth Explorer on Facebook and Twitter. So far only a trailer and two short clips have been released, which you can see below. No word when the first episode will be released. No opening date has been set yet for the King Kong attraction in Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park. This new marketing campaign could lead to the announcement.
