Raglan Road, Downtown Disney’s Irish restaurant, has rolled out a new Sunday brunch menu and dining experience. Offerings include a little something from breakfast, lunch and dinner along with lively entertainment which starts at noon. (Brunch is available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Professional dancers fresh from Ireland and a live band with traditional music fill the culturally rich establishment.

photo 1-1The Full Irish is an authentic breakfast of Ireland including sausage, black and white pudding, bacon, roasted tomato, mushrooms and fried eggs with potatoes. The Pancakes Diaspora with berry compote are tasty for an early sweet tooth as well as the steel cut oatmeal. Raglan Road proudly uses local organic ingredients.

If an early adult beverage is what you seek, the Elder Flower champagne is tasty with a subtle floral hint. Also, the familiar Bloody Mary cocktail is tastefully rounded off with a splash of velvety Guinness to balance its’ usual spicy taste.

With a party of six or more, consider the Host the Roast. In this family style meal, you’ll choose from beef, pork, lamb or chicken and the chef carves the meat at your table. Potatoes are a-plenty along with simple dishes to exemplify Irish home cooking. Plan ahead for the roast, though, prior notice is needed.

When you visit Raglan Road be sure to save room for the bread pudding. It’s quite delectable.
