New free Attractions Magazine iPhone app offers wait times, videos, news and full issues

Call it the pocket-sized edition – iPhone and iPod users can now bring all the news, photos, articles and more found in Orlando Attractions Magazine with them wherever they go. The new free app is now available and it offers much more than just the magazine.

The app not only allows you to buy every issue of the magazine and store them right on your device, but it also has tabs for reading the latest attractions news, watching the latest videos or weekly show, reading the official Twitter feed and even checking the latest submitted ride wait times for all the theme parks in Central Florida.

The one app now also works on both the iPhone and iPads. For those who already own issues on their iPad, they may download them again on the iPhone version at no additional charge. But don’t worry about trying to read the print on the smaller screen, each page of the magazine can be zoomed-in for easy reading and a closer look at the photos.

New for both the iPhone version and the existing free iPad app is the ability to subscribe to the digital versions. A one year subscription allows you to download the current issue and automatically get the next three when they’re available – a savings over buying each issue individually.

The attractions wait times feature on the iPhone version relies on users to submit the wait times they see while in the park. Since the app is brand new, the times will improve as more people install and use it.

The app is free for both iPhone and iPad users. All of the featres within the app are free except subscriptions and buying issues. The app comes with a free sample issue.

  1. Very disappointed that if you are an in-print subscriber you have to pay again for a digital subscription. I’ve been an in-print subscriber almost since the beginning and this is the first time I’ve been dissapointed with the magazine.
