Old Town, Kissimmee’s walking district full of shops, rides, food and entertainment, has announced their 30th anniversary celebration will be held on New Year’s Eve. The Old Town 30th Anniversary event, set to take place on Saturday, December 31, will feature special offers and live entertainment. Old Town will also be giving away free gift cards to lucky guests. Individuals visiting the entertainment district between 12 – 6 p.m. will be selected randomly to win gift cards redeemable at their favorite Old Town stores and restaurants.
Additionally, during the evening, Old Town will host its Rock the Clock New Year’s Eve Celebration, an exclusive ticketed event featuring live music by The JamCo Band, a group that has performed internationally for live, studio, radio and televised events. There will also be party favors and a spectacular fireworks display at midnight.
“Old Town is celebrating 30 fantastic years of providing our guests an authentic and affordable family friendly alternative to major theme parks,” said Thearon Scurlock, general manager for Old Town. “This New Year’s Eve is truly a milestone as we celebrate the amazing support we’ve received from our guests over the years and kick off our yearlong celebration of Old Town’s 30th Anniversary.”
The 30th anniversary celebration is from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and is free to the public. The Rock the Clock New Year’s Eve celebration is from 7:30 p.m. – 1 a.m. and is ticketed. Guests must be 18+ to attend. Tickets start at $10. Guests can also choose the VIP Rockstar option to enjoy dinner, dessert, champagne and priority seating for the concert stage and fireworks.
