After setting up temporary residence on International Drive during Wrestlemania 33, a permanent Hulk Hogan’s Beach Shop will be moving into the new Hollywood Plaza parking garage next to Mango’s Tropical Cafe, across the corner from the future Skyplex complex.

As construction of the 141’ Hollywood Plaza Entertainment Complex adjacent to Mango’s Tropical Café continues, developers Joshua and David Wallack have announced that Hollywood Plaza’s newest resident will be Hulk Hogan, whose Hogan’s Beach Shop will move to its permanent home on the ground level of the Complex upon completion. The 880-parking space mega-structure will also house the high-end Italian restaurant Circo Orlando, part of the Le Cirque Restaurant brands, on the top floor, in addition to a yet-to-be-announced third tenant on the main level. Parking in the Complex is estimated to open to guests by the end of this year, with Circo, Hogan and the remaining tenant spaces to open in 2018.

“WrestleMania 33 drove in the masses to Hogan’s Beach Shop, and we are beyond thrilled to welcome the most legendary superstar in the history of professional wrestling to I-Drive,” says Joshua Wallack.

“It’s a love affair with Orlando!” Hulk Hogan said. “I’m here with my fans, and Hulkamania is running wild on I-Drive.” Hogan added, many former WWE legends will be visiting all throughout the summer and beyond. “I’ve got big plans for this, Brother… Giant plans!”

Development for the $500 million Skyplex Entertainment Complex could also commence by the end of the year. The project is planned to included the world’s tallest rollercoaster ‘Skyscraper’ standing at over 500-feet tall, in addition to several additional attractions to include the 450-foot drop ride SkyFall, Abyss free fall dive experience SkyJump, the death-defying SkyLedge edgewalk, open-air promenade SkyPlaza, interactive venues, restaurants and retail.

“As soon as you enter Skyplex, go up the escalator and underneath the rails of Skyscraper, you will be transported into the land we want you in,” says Wallack. To add he says, “The theme is completely different than Mango’s or anything else and will be a much-welcomed, major addition to the Central Florida. It will be one of the most unique developments in the world, with the most thrilling rides anywhere.”

Additionally, nightlife destination Mango’s Tropical Café, will receive the addition of a rooftop level big enough for 1,000 people. The rooftop can commence once the parking is available next door.

“We are re-inventing International Drive with an entertainment bonanza of innovative, imaginative and revolutionary attractions and entertainment,” says Wallack. “This is only the beginning of what millions of visitors and locals will now and in the coming year finally start to see is an incredible transformation making the intersection of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road the most popular, desirable and electrifying locale for entertainment in the country.”
