Phineas and Ferb virtual experience coming to Downtown Disney

Beginning next month, the newest attraction inspired by Phineas and Ferb is coming to Walt Disney World. Beginning Sept. 1, 2012, “Phineas and Ferb & You: A Brand New Reality” will offer a virtual experience that will allow guests to play with animated characters from Disney’s Emmy Award-winning animated series Phineas and Ferb.

It will be set up in Downtown Disney Westside, next to Bongos Cuban Café through Dec. 1, and be open from 2 to 9:30 p.m. daily. Up to three guests at a time will stand inside the virtual experience set and interact with one of 20 randomly selected animation segments featuring Phineas and Ferb, Agent P or even Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who will magically appear to play and dance alongside them. It all happens in a virtual on-screen 30-second experience.

After that, guests can visit special website to download and share a complimentary photo of their experience. Phineas and Ferb merchandise will also be available at a nearby merchandise stand.

For more Phineas and Ferb fun at Walt Disney World, guests may go undercover with Agent P on a quest around World Showcase at Epcot or meet and greet with Phineas and Ferb at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This experience is similar to the virtual experience that Disney Parks launched in New York City to commemorate the grand opening of their new Disney Store. Here’s a look:
