Slowly, but surely, holiday decorations are making their way into all of the Orlando area theme parks and Busch Gardens is no exception. This is in prep for their annual Christmas Town event, which begins on Nov. 29.

Christmas Town Sign
A Christmas Town teaser banner has replaced the Howl-O-Scream sign that occupied this spot a couple of weeks ago.

Santas Christmas Workshop
A new name and new items have taken over the shop that was set up for Howl-O-Scream.

Nutcrackers
Shelves of colorful nutcrackers greet guests who enter the shop through the entrance closest to the turnstiles.

OrnamentStation
Although it wasn’t open while I was there, an area in the shop is set up for ornament personalization.

Garland was also spotted on a building near the Tiger Trail area.

The walkway by the Sesame Street area of the park is lined with flourescent Christmas trees.

Flamingos
Near the real flamingos were some new plastic ones. I’m guessing these will be a display in Christmas Town. It looks like their legs are rigged up to simulate a walking motion.

Christmas Town
Although the gates weren’t open, some new structures have been set up near Gwazi that look to be there for Christmas Town as well.

Christmas Card
There are several larger-than-life Christmas cards in the Gwazi area as well.

No trip to Busch Gardens is complete without checking up on the Falcon’s Fury construction site. Here are a couple taken from holes in the construction site wrapping

I took a couple more from the Scorpion. The base of the ride can now be seen from within the pit.

  1. Great pictures Kirstin, I haven’t been to Busch Gardens in a long time. Makes me want to go there also. I also showed your blog to people here at work.
